Happy 4th

Happy Independence Day! I don’t know about you, but I feel pretty darn fortunate to be a citizen of our great nation. I’m putting on my patriotic mood and remembering the principles on which our country was founded. And of course we’ll be doing the usual—barbecue, swimming, fireworks (on TV), and sparklers for the kids. It’s family day. Enjoy yours!

I think your right about blogging being a winter activity. Not sure why, maybe I have more time, or maybe because it gets dark earlier and you can’t be doing things outside as late, so you might as well be in blogging.

Hope you enjoyed your 4th. Like you I feel blessed and proud to be a citizen of this nation. Didn’t celebrate like I would have liked to this year but maybe next year I’ll get more in the spirit.
