Wii had a great Christmas

Yes, my kids scored a Nintendo Wii from Santa this Christmas. Santa acquired the Wii a few months ago, in anticipation of a Christmas shortage, and it stayed in hiding until it was time to load up the sleigh (er, um, the minivan, to transport gifts in hiding back to our house in time for Santa’s big delivery).
Sometimes, Santa gets it right.
The kids particularly love bowling on Wii Sports. All I’ve heard for days are cries of “strike!” and “spare!” every time they hit one. Kent likes tennis and golf, while I switch it over to Super Mario Galaxy after the kids are in bed. So far I’ve managed to collect 7 stars (out of 120) in my quest to rescue Princess Peach. At this rate, I expect I’ll be enjoying Mario for a very long time. Whenever I can wrest control of the Wii from the kids, that is.
Well, what do you know? Santa must have really shopped long and hard because he brought OUR family a Wii as well. Like yours, my kids are fans of the bowling, and baseball. They also like the cow race type game on WiiPlay. Matt and I like Lego Star Wars, but we’ll have to check out Super Mario Galaxy.
GO WII!
Oh yes, my kids got one of those too. So much fun. I actually played Super Mario Pary 8 last night. It was a lot of fun.
Ah, that Santa, he still has a bag full of tricks. Someone must have been very good.
Just wait until Kent discovers Guitar Hero… you will have lost all rights to your TV then…
My expiernce (so far) has been that all of the parents who got these “FOR THE KIDS” spend more time playing with them than the kids do. Look at Queen Elizabeth for example. The British Crown has gone hi-tech! ~ jb///
You know what Andy Borowitz discovered? “…people who play Wii suffer pain in their right shoulder and also never lose their virginity!”
Have a lot of fun. I tried it at my grandkids’ house and had a great time for a long time. Fortunately, the virginity part had already been taken care of. Well, why do you think I have grandkids?
