Note to self

Do not, under ANY circumstances, ever go to the grocery store on the day before Christmas Eve again. Whatever you need, you don’t need it that badly. Next time, your family can just do without that apple pie for Christmas.

It was ten times worse than the mall, people, and I know this because I was at the mall today, too. Stay away. Stay far, far away.

It’s rough isn’t it? I stocked up on groceries a couple of days ago. I spent a fortune, but I’m determined not to have to go back for ANYthing until after Christmas. I learned that lesson years and years ago the day before Thanksgiving.

I learned that lesson a long time ago!! Stay away is right! It’s like when they are predicting a huge winter storm. That is another time to stay away! Everybody is there stocking up like they think they’ll be shut in for months or something!

I did simular today, except I stopped at Sam’s Club to pick up all the pies and cakes =5 minutes, but as happens, 30 minutes getting through checkout.
Now to rest until Tuesday…wheeee
