Then there are friends we have only for a moment; special people we freely love and respect for the rest of our lives. Like nurses who care for burn victims; foster parents who cuddle little ones (or little ones who cuddle with foster parents); counselors who help rescue; angels of hospitality... I've also heard someone say that a good friend is one who will bail you out of jail at 3:00 a.m., and a great friend is one who's sitting next to you in the cell exclaiming, "MAN! THAT WAS F#@KIN' AWESOME!" I like Aristotle's definition better. Aristotle defined friends as “a single soul dwelling in two bodies.”
