Yeah, I think nine is about the last year for theme parties, as far as impressing the kids. In fact, I remember when I turned nine I had a dress-up party, even though it wasn't common 40 years ago. Which should tell you Maia will remember this her whole life! My older daughter turned ten a few months ago, and a slumber party was the perfect segue from big productions to an intimate gathering of a few friends. What a lovely idea!
