I didn't have a lot of boyfriends either. I had two "going steady" boys in Junior High and three boyfriends in High School. After that, I had only one serious boyfriend in college until I met and married my Hubby. I didn't have to lie to him either! I'd say we both got our hubbies through respectable means.
